Biography
As
the lead singer of the group Czerwono-Czarni from 1963
to 1967 Maciej Kossowski performed three thousand shows in the biggest
arenas and concert halls in Poland and abroad:
Czechoslovakia, (1964) East Germany (1965) Canada and USA (1966.)
His
recording debut in 1963 with Czerwono- Czarni
produced two-huge hits: Dwudziestolatki, and Agatko pocaluj.
In
1967 during three month tour of Soviet Union Maciej gave 120
shows with the group Tajfuny (The Typhoons.)
More
than 5.000.000 people have seen Maciej Kossowski on stage and on more
then ten occasions his audience exceeded two hundred fifty thousand
people in outdoor performances.
Known
as a talented songwriter Maciej written and produced in one year almost
thirty songs that received nation wide radio play.

In
October 1969 he immigrated to US and settled in New York, USA.

his absence in 1996, Polskie Nagrania released his CD entitled:
Nie mowie zegnaj, (I Don't Say Good-bye) on a side of many inclusions
of his songs to numerous record compilations featuring only the biggest
hits.
